CNA classes

K so I have been taking CNA classes since the first of September and I am loving every minute of it... I have class for ten hours every saturday, and will be done with the classroom requirements next saturday. Today I had my first clinical and it was a little different then what I had expected. It was a good experience but an eye opener to how much nursing homes need so many more good CNA's to help with all that is required of them and the time and attention that the residents deserve... And if any one reading this is interested in going to school at all take a look at ccCNA.com, Claudia and Carol are the most awesome teachers ever. They make it an enjoyable learning experience. Some of you may be saying that ten hour classes arent for you but they also have day and night classes. Not to mention I have met some great friends.

some fun things I have learned

There are more microorganisms in your mouth then in your arm pit.. so to put it in perspective it is better to lick an armpit then to french kiss....lol

The number one thing found under fake fingernails is fecies...eeewww!!!!

I hope you are all enlightened

jordanelle

A week ago last saturday we went to jordanelle for the day with my parents, shane, Diana, Ashley, and nick. We had a great time swimming and attemping to fish. The water was a little cold but once you got in it wasnt so bad.. Brylie and Brikalie chose to play in the mud. Brikalie had an accident in her dry clothes so she did not have any, so if you look at the picture where I am holding her she has my pants on and they are like a potato sack for her..lol Thanks mom and Elden for taking us on a fun day trip we love you!!!

Police Memorial

A week ago last friday my mom, elden, myself and my girls we were able to place my dads plaque on the new police memorial at the State Capitol.. I would like to take a second and thank everyone who played a part in this memorial happening, big or small..I hope that everyone understands the sacrifice that these men and women have made. And not only the police but also the military.
On the side of the memorial there is a scripture which happens to be my favorite john 15:13 "Greater love hath no man then this that a man lay down his life for his friends"... I think that says it all in so many ways.
I wasn"t able to attend the actual dedication of the memorial the following day because I started class but my family was able to be there and my mom took my girls, so when I get some pics of that I will post them..
After we were done placing the plaque we were headed back to the car when Bailie started asking questions about the "big building" we were at... So her and I went up the stairs to see if we could go in so Bailie could look around.. And it happened to be opened so mom brought the two little ones up and we took a quick really small tour of the capitol. There was actually a wedding reception going on and the girls kept refering to the "Bride" and the "princess". After the fun time at the capitol we all went out to eat at the Ihop.. yummy!!!

ps. a quick clarification on the pic Bailie took of all of us..lol I was yelling at Brylie because she kept throwing rocks and one happened to make it down my shirt. So after yelling at Bry I was telling Bailie to hurry and take the picture... And so the end result, a real true life pic of our family...hehehhe

Brylie finally gets to start school...yeah!!!!

Brylie was feeling a ton better by friday so she got to start preschool... She is a pro since this is her second year and as last she loves it... She is so excited to have her best friend lilly in her class again. They are fun to watch.

Dance Dance Dance

Bailie started hip hop last thursday and Brylie and Brikalie started tap and ballet... They were all soooo excited and had a fun time... It was so cute to see Brylie take care of her little sister when she felt a little out of place. She made sure she always had a seat next to her and would rub her back...lol it was adorable.

Brylie and Brikalie first day of preschool!!!

Poor little bry bry was sick and was not able to make it to her first day of 2nd year preschool.=( She was up all night fevering and throwing up. It was too much fun for one night. But Brikalie was healthy and ready to go. She was a little nervous to go because she didnt know what to expect but in the end she had a great time. When I dropped her off she found her cubby and put her special bag away. She was alright and playing until she realized that I had snuck out then she kinda stood in the corner. But she has sweet teachers that encouraged her to play. Miss Jessica was taking pics of all the little ones for the end of the year scrap book. And of course when she took Kalies picture she had to pose.. Miss Jessica thought it was hillarious and came out to show me.. Of course I just said "thats my girl" lol... Brikalie loves to look at the pics I take on my digital camera so she was following Miss Jessica around waiting to look at all the pics after she took them... Miss Jessica had a little shadow following her every where...Ayden her cousin is also in her class and he had a difficult time with mom leaving for the first 20 min then after that he did awesome!!! Today they got to paint and color pictures. I love little learners and recommend it to any one looking for an extrodinary preschool..

Bailie first day of 2nd grade

K so call me a procrastinator or just a busy single mom of three beautiful girls... whatever works I will agree with either or... So Bailie started 2nd grade way back on july 27th.. She loves her school and it is super nice because it is a brand new school... I am very excited that she is just up the street and it is walking distance and she doesnt have to sit on a bus for a half hour.. She is very happy cause her cousin Breanna is in her class this year. Hopefully they will not cause too much trouble together.lol She thinks her teacher is awesome which is always a plus...
