Today Bailie received the Principals pride award for helping other students learn how to count money... Yay!!! So I was very excited to be able to be there and take pics... Bailie made the comment "Mom all it was is a piece of paper with some words on it" lol So of course mom is a sucker and takes her to target to get a special something. She ends up choosing Moon Sand..ugh!! Bailie asked if she could take it to her dads with her this weekend and of course mom said YES!! that is a GREAT idea...lol Bailie still had about a half hour left of school after her award so I went back to class with her.. She read a few books with me and we had a good time.. Then as most of you know about the infamous Alex.. This is the little boy who likes to torment and chase the girls. I am sitting at Bailies desk and she calls to alex come over here... or course he does. Bailie then asks him "Can my mom take a picture of you" lol So that is why there is a cute pic of the two of them together.how cute!! He use to tell her all the time that he loved her so one day I asked bailie is she said it back to him... She stated that she did because she didnt want to hurt his feelings. I explained to her that if she didn't love someone then it was ok and she could choose who she loved. She went to school the next day and proceeded to tell him that her mom said she could love any one she wanted and she didnt love him... A few days later of course he found a new girl to tell that he loved and to my surprise Bailie was a little bugged by it...(yes they are only in 1st grade)This is also the boy that I told Bailie that she had my permission to push and punch him..=} (this had been after months and months of torment from him) instead of waiting until she had to defend herself she went straight to the teacher and told her that i had given her permission to punch him...lol of course the teacher disagreed and told her she couldnt... ooops!!! but I am very thankful now that all the alex stories I hear now are good ones and he is being nice to them and actually playing with them.... whew!!!

Brylie had dance today and she did sooo good. They started learning their dance. She loves to dance and of course mom loves to watch her. Next fall I will be able to put Brikalie in with her and I think they will both have a blast together...I cant wait... Im still trying to talk Bailie into either dancing again or doing something but she still insists that she doesnt want to.

We also stopped by to see Kristy, Jeremy, and Ivan... He is a doll he is now three weeks old.. the girls just love to hold him...We cant wait until we get our chance to babysit...

Quick story I want to share..... So as all of you know now I have been running and trying to get ready for a 5k in may... anyway I had this great idea tonight that I would get out my ride and stride, pack all the kids in it and go for a jog/walk... but of course we couldnt leave the dog out so lucy got to go also....I had to have Cindie help me get the ride and stride out and pump up the two big tires (not to hard) So anyway as I am trying to load up the three girls I realize that it only sits 2.... Well with Brikalie siting on Bailie's lap I manage to get them all in.. mind you probably not so safely but it works... So we start of and head out of the circle the girls are yelling HI to a neighbor girl going for a walk with her dad and me being friendly say "I dont know how this is going to work but im going to try". Not even three steps further and the dogs leash got all wrapped up in the tire... ugh!!!! (how imbarrassing) So there I am in the middle of the street trying to get the dog untangled.. As the cars try and get by us Brylie is screaming because she thinks they are going to run us over... Well I managed to get the dog free and we kept on our way... We had to since we were jogging to the park and the girls knew this... So we head to the church first and I run around the parking lot and as im doing this I realize that the front tire is flat... ugh!! So I am thinking to my self "SERIOUSLY". It worked well enough to get us to the park and the girls got to play at the park and had a great time... So I guess all the hassle was well worth it...lol What we do for our kids...lol (and a little exercise)..

Happy Easter!!!!!!!

Today was a lot of fun. The girls woke me this morning telling me that the easter bunny had come =). He also brought a bowl full of eggs for mom to hide because it was to cold for him to hide them outside. The girls got a new outfit, a barbie doll, and of course CHOCOLATE... We played some games and hung out until their dad came to pick them up for more fun easter traditions.

Since the girls had gone with their dad I decided to try again at running the track down at hunter high... And to my surprise I actually did AWESOME... I only did a slow jog but I made it a full 3.25 miles without walking...Yay!!!!! oh and I didnt pass out when I was finished either =). So now im feeling a lot better about my run in May...

Yesterday Cindie and I went to Davids Bridal to find dresses for our cruise... it was a ton of fun. Cindie found a cute top but I decided to keep looking... we only have about 28 more days. I am soooo excited. We are leaving april 21- 25. We will be leaving from long beach and head to catalina islands and then from there we will go to Ensenada, Mexico...woo hooo I cant wait!!!

Funny Kid story for the day:

I was getting the girls in the tub tonight... They were all in and enjoying themselves when the next thing I know Im being yelled at about Brylie pooping in the tub..yuck!!! So I get all the girls out of the tub and while I am cleaning it out Brylie was standing on the side of the tub... Brikalie was standing behind her on the floor... Brikalie proceeds to yell at Brylie that she wants to see... So of course brylie bends over and spreads her butt cheeks so that Brikalie can have a good look.. Brikalies reactions: eeewwww yuck!!! Bailie and I couldn't help but laugh... Gotta love them!!!!

Im very excited to do this blog and look forward to my daily entries and reading others....

For those of you who do not know I am "attempting" to train for a 5k... I have been doing really well... I have been running on a treadmill and have made great progress.. However I have learned that running on a treadmill and running on normal ground is not the same... So last saturday I went to Hunter High to run the track there and found out I am no where near ready... ugh!!! I still have til may and Im not giving up... My goal is to be able to jog the entire way( and not pass out at the end=))...

My girls are growing up sooo fast.. They are the most precious things in my life....Today they got to spend the day with Grandma and Grandpa Tanner.. My girls love their grandparents and are lucky to have them in their lives... Brikalies favorite thing to do is harrass her ganka (Grandpa)but then again Im not sure who does the most harrassing the girls or grandpa... And its always fun to see the girls eyes light up when they see grandma... I am very grateful for all that my parents do for me and my girls... Thanks and I love you guys!!!
